2025 Scholarships

KANSAS HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

To be eligible for the Kansas Hispanic Scholarship Program, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a high school senior from the Wichita metro area
• Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage (50% or more)
• Applicant must enroll full-time in a fully accredited post-secondary institution the year immediately following graduation
• Scholarship is applied to tuition and books (In-State & Out-of-State)
• U.S. Citizenship/DACA/Undocumented 

Our scholarships fund a wide range of post-secondary education, including trade programs, community college, college and university, allowing you to pursue your academic and professional passions. The scholarship provides financial support, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a supportive community to help you thrive during your time in higher education and beyond.

KOCH HISPANIC SCHOLARS PROGRAM

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ARE FOR $10,000 – $1,250/SEMESTER AND ARE RENEWABLE FOR FOUR YEARS WITH A GPA REQUIREMENT OF 3.0 OR ABOVE.

Applicants who apply for the Kansas Hispanic Scholarship Program are considered eligible for the Koch Hispanic Scholars Program

To be eligible for the Koch Hispanic Scholars Program, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a high school senior from the Wichita metro area
• Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage (50% or more)
• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen
• Applicant must enroll full-time in an accredited four-year college or university the year immediately following graduation
• Preferences will be given to applicants majoring in the following majors:
  • Business—Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Economics, and Supply Chain Management
  • Engineering—Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering 

OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR AWARD

We are proud to present the Outstanding Scholar Award, designed to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable leadership, academic excellence, and impactful contributions of KHEDF Scholars within their communities, campuses, and beyond.

Two recipients will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship.

To be eligible to apply for the Outstanding Scholar Award, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a past KHEDF scholarship recipient
• Applicant must be a junior, senior, or a graduate student in college during Fall 2024 - Spring 2025
• Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or above

Requirements for award recipient:

• Applicant must enroll full-time post-secondary institution
• Award recipients must submit a headshot in jpg format.
• Award recipients must submit an Unofficial Transcript for the fall and spring semesters when they are officially enrolled for each semester.

Award recipients are expected to attend our Dream Big Fiesta on June 6, 2024, where they will be honored and celebrated.
